As the two artifacts on this page attest, I've been arguing and fighting for various cases and causes for 30 years now.
The editorial below was published in the now defunct Rocky Mountain News on September 10, 1989. In this piece I'm basically arguing for less fighting and more exploring; specifically, spending less on the military and more on space exploration. Thus, akin to turning swords into plowshares, I'm making the case for turning bombers into space probes.
My next editorial was published in the same newspaper on November 12, 1989. Titled "Thinking is not just about accumulating knowledge," this piece generally concerned educational reform and teaching critical thinking skills.
