how we begin
As the slide below indicates, the second premise of our classroom (as articulated in the foreword of our textbook) involves encouraging each learner to explore and understand their unique constellation of intelligences (according to the work of Howard Gardner), as well as their personal learning styles and preferences (according to the work of Rita and Kenneth Dunn).
As with premise one of our classroom, the idea here is to customize education to suit and nurture the unique interests and talents of each individual learner. In other words, as we encourage and bring out the best in each learner, their best is brought out to the world
